You will be picked up from your hotel in Antalya and transferred to the tour bus for a scenic drive to the Demre region. The first stop will be the ancient city of Myra, where you can explore the rock-cut tombs carved into the cliffs and the impressive Roman theater. Afterward, head to the Church of St. Nicholas, where the famous figure of Santa Claus is believed to be buried. You’ll have time to visit the church and learn about the life of St. Nicholas.
Next, embark on a relaxing boat ride to the sunken island of Kekova, a unique area where you can witness submerged ancient ruins visible through the crystal-clear waters. During the boat trip, there will be an opportunity to snorkel in the beautiful waters of the Turquoise Coast, with abundant marine life and incredible underwater scenery.
A delicious lunch will be served at a local restaurant, offering a variety of Turkish dishes. After lunch, you’ll visit the Lycian necropolis of Teimiussa, where you can explore ancient tombs and enjoy spectacular views of the surrounding area. After a day full of history and natural beauty, the group will return to Antalya and be dropped off at your hotel.
The tour includes pick-up and drop-off from your Antalya hotel, a professional guide, entrance fees to Myra and St. Nicholas Church, the boat trip to Kekova, snorkeling, and a delicious lunch. The tour lasts approximately 12 hours.
