Priene: The first destination is Priene, an ancient Greek city that was a proud member of the Ionian League and a thriving port city. Despite being rebuilt three times due to natural disasters, Priene held significant spiritual and religious importance as the central shrine of the Ionian League. While lacking great political influence, the city is adorned with beautiful Hellenic art examples. Key attractions include the Bouleuterion, the Theater, and the Temple of Athena.
Miletus: Next on the itinerary is Miletus, once the largest city in Anatolia and the home of several famous philosophers. While it may have lost its former glory, Miletus still boasts important remains such as the theater and Faustina Baths. The symbol of the Olympic games is said to originate from the lighthouse of Miletus’ biggest harbor.
Didyma: The final stop is Didyma, renowned for the impressive Temple of Apollon and the iconic Medusa Head. As a significant cult center for Miletus, Didyma was famed for its oracle, which held a considerable reputation in ancient times.
