After breakfast, we begin our day with a walk through Gomeda Valley. Start the trek at the Gomeda Valley trailhead near Ürgüp, following the scenic path through lush greenery and rock formations. Explore ancient cave dwellings and the Alakara Church, adorned with well-preserved frescoes. Walk along the narrow valley, passing by old pigeon houses carved into the rock, once used for collecting guano.
Continue deeper into the valley to discover a mysterious underground tunnel. Bring a flashlight to navigate through the dark, winding passage. After exiting, follow the trail toward Mustafapaşa, a charming village with a rich Greek heritage. The hike offers stunning views of Cappadocia’s fairy chimneys and rock-cut landscapes.
Arriving in Mustafapaşa, stroll through its cobbled streets lined with historic Greek mansions. Visit the Konstantin-Eleni Church, an old Greek Orthodox church with impressive architecture. Stop by the Monastery of St. Nicholas for panoramic views of the village and surrounding valleys.
After exploring the village, choose between hiking back through an alternative trail or arranging a short transfer to Ürgüp. End the trek by relaxing at a café, sipping Turkish tea or coffee while reflecting on the journey.

Upon arrival, you’ll embark on a long trekking route of approximately 12-14 km, enjoying the breathtaking canyon scenery, rock-hewn churches, and the peaceful Melendiz River. Along the way, you’ll explore significant sites like Ağaçaltı Church, known for its frescoes, Sümbüllü Church with its intricate rock carvings, and Yılanlı Church, famous for its biblical depictions.
After the trek, you’ll take a break in Belisırma Village, where you’ll enjoy a traditional Turkish lunch by the river, sampling local dishes like Testi Kebabı, Gözleme, and fresh salads (optional).

Flight services: golfintravel.com does not undertake international flights. Since domestic flight prices are flexible, they are not included in the package but can be included in the package at current prices upon your request. For domestic flights, you should consider an average of 50 EUR per way.
Guidance service: Apart from the fact that tours generally provide English guidance services, in some tours there are English consultants who do not give historical or cultural explanations but guide you. Please read the descriptions.
