• Start your day at the Sword Valley, known for its sharp, sword-like rock formations and fairy chimneys. You will begin the trek through narrow pathways surrounded by ancient cave dwellings and rock-cut churches.
• As you follow the winding trail, you will pass through volcanic tuff formations, unique fairy chimneys, and tunnels. Along the way, you will visit some hidden cave churches adorned with frescoes from the Byzantine period, while enjoying the stunning landscapes shaped by natural forces over centuries.
• Continuing into Rose Valley, you will walk through its picturesque pink-hued rock formations, which change color with the sunlight. You will visit Haclı Church, a rock-cut church with fascinating carvings. There will be a stop at a viewpoint, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the valley.
• A picnic lunch will be served in a scenic spot within Red Valley, which is famous for its dramatic rock formations and striking red tones. You will have time to relax and enjoy traditional Turkish snacks, fresh fruits, and tea.
• The trek will then continue toward Cavusin Village, one of the oldest settlements in Cappadocia. Here, you will explore its abandoned rock houses and visit the Church of St. John the Baptist, one of the largest and most historically significant cave churches in the region.
• The final stop will be at a panoramic viewpoint overlooking Göreme National Park, where you can take in a bird’s-eye perspective of Cappadocia’s stunning landscape. After enjoying the views and a short rest, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
