Embark on a two-day expedition from Istanbul to Kusadasi, exploring three of Turkey’s remarkable UNESCO World Heritage sites. Commence your journey by delving into the historic WWI battlegrounds of Gallipoli, where you’ll pay homage to the ANZAC and Turkish troops at dedicated cemeteries and memorials. Following an overnight stay in Canakkale, proceed to the ancient city of Troy, where you’ll be captivated by the millennia-old city walls, Sacrificial Altars, Houses of Troy, and a reconstructed Trojan Horse. Conclude your odyssey with a visit to the ancient city of Pergamon before wrapping up your tour in Kusadasi, the gateway to Ephesus.

  • Depart from Istanbul at 6 am for Gallipoli, where history and memory come alive. On your way, enjoy scenic views as you drive through the Turkish countryside.

  • Pay tribute at the Beach Cemetery, a site that commemorates the sacrifices made by the soldiers of the ANZAC (Australian and New Zealand Army Corps).

2nd day from Troy to Pergamon

  • Start your exploration with the famous Trojan Horse replica, the iconic symbol of Homer’s Iliad, which represents the cunning trick that led to the fall of the ancient city of Troy.
  • Continue your visit by walking through the ruins of Troy, an ancient city with a history dating back over 4,000 years. Discover the remnants of the city walls, ancient houses, and temples, including the famous “Layer VI” where the Trojan War is said to have taken place.
  • After your visit to Troy, enjoy a scenic drive towards Pergamon (about 3 hours).
  • Arrive in Pergamon, an ancient Greek city famous for its massive acropolis and rich history. Visit the Acropolis to see the Temple of Athena, the Altar of Zeus, and the Theater that overlooks the city. Don't miss the Asclepius Sanctuary, dedicated to the god of healing, and the impressive ruins of the Library of Pergamon, once one of the largest libraries of the ancient world.
