Tazı Canyon is located within Köprülü Canyon National Park, which is among the prime spots for rafting in Antalya and in Turkey at large. Every day, hundreds of adventurers go rafting on Köprüçay River, stream-sourced whitewater from the mountains, over which the rafting stations are built in Manavgat district.
Tazi canyon is located approximately 105 km from the center of Antalya. It is 20 km from the famous Koprulu Canyon Bridge. Most of the road is asphalt and can be reached by passenger cars. Close to arrival about 2 km is Stabilized road. If the lower part of your vehicle is not low and suitable for the terrain, you may experience difficulties. Tazi Canyon has 2 viewing fronts.
The first course area is the section with a single tree next to it, showing the gap between the valley and the Koprucay river, which you see in advertisements and pictures. Section 2 shows the hollow valley, where you can see the steep slopes of the canyon on the right, approach 30 meters. Tazi Canyon, which you will be able to watch without taking your eyes for hours, allows you to take magnificent photos.
The Roman city of Selge is set high in the mountains above a dramatic gorge cut by the Köprüçay. Although Selge was a relatively prosperous city under the Romans, it has always had a problem obtaining water. The ciy’s excellent Roman engineers solved the problem for a time, but the scarcity of water and the necessity of bringing it to the city over long distances limited Selge’s growth.
Adam Kayalar rocks offer a fantastic view. The site of conglomerate rocks, which were created as a result of the combination of sand and gravel areas rising from the sea floor with soil and miles, covers the whole area on the skirts of Bozburun Mountain.
